Through our Early College Scholars program, local St. Louis area students have the opportunity to enroll in one course for credit and study alongside undergraduates. Students select from a broad range of stimulating introductory courses in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and mathematics. This program is ideal for students who want to earn college credit, challenge themselves academically and live at home during the summer.
In addition to course work, Early College Scholars participate in specialized seminars, workshops, and academic support groups.
The Early College Scholars Program is a five-week program. Students may choose from two different five-week sessions: June 14-July 16 or July 19-August 19, 2021.
WashU is taking significant measures to protect the community from COVID-19. Visit WashU Together for more information on WashU's COVID-19 response.
If we are unable to offer in-person (commuter or residential) pre-college programs, we will shift to remote programming. We will communicate with students and parents regarding new program fees and details before admission decisions are sent.
