High School Summer Launch
Prepare for College Success
A noncredit, summer program for current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. High School Summer Launch is designed to challenge and inspire high school students through innovative lectures, workshops, and seminars. Through High School Summer Launch students gain a foundation for future study and academic exploration.
You will attend lectures with WashU instructors introducing you to the undergraduate classroom and scholarly inquiry. College advising workshops take the confusion out of the college application process, while you create a personalized plan for choosing and applying to college. Interactive afternoon sessions allow for self-discovery as you learn to hone specific skills such as growth mindset, curiosity, and leadership.
You may choose to live on campus or commute during High School Summer Launch. This program is ideal if you are looking for a general introduction to college life and academics, to build confidence with the college application process, and want a full pre-college experience in an accelerated format.
