2024 International Student Form

For High School Summer Scholars Program attendees only

Please complete all fields of this form. The information provided will be shared with the Office of International Students and Scholars to be used with issuing your I-20 to attend the High School Summer Scholars Program.

Your name must be entered exactly as it appears on your passport. We cannot accept this form without an uploaded copy of your valid passport. Be sure that the passport you upload does not expire before or during the program dates of June 9-July 13, 2024.

We will begin processing I-20s on March 8. Once this form is submitted, and you've completed all other enrollment tasks, you can expect to receive your I-20 via email within 14 business days.

A few important reminders:

• Neither the ESTA visa waiver nor the B-1 or B-2 visa allows for-credit study. Attempting to enter the United States in ESTA, B-1, or B-2 visa status to earn credit is a violation of United States visa policy and you risk being denied entry to the United States.
• The F-1 student visa requires enrollment in full-time, for-credit study. In the summer, full-time, for-credit study is enrollment in two courses, totaling 6 units of credit. A Form I-20 will NOT be issued for students not enrolled for 6 units of credit.
• You will be required to check-in with the Office for International Students and Scholars upon arrival to the program. Part of the check-in process will include providing copies of your visa documentation.
• You must attend the full length of the program from June 9-July 13, 2024. We will not permit late arrivals to the program. 

To expedite the issuing of your I-20, we ask that you complete the above steps as soon as possible, and no later than May 4, 2024 at 11:59pm CT.
