Request for Overnight Absence

Students should plan to commit to the full length of the program and to schedule other commitments when the program is not in session. Missing any part of the program can impact the student's experience and academic performance. Students will not be automatically excused from classes to attend other commitments. They will need to get permission from their instructor to miss any scheduled classes.

If necessary, a parent/legal guardian may request an overnight absence for their student only if the student will be escorted by a parent/legal guardian or a parent/legal guardian approved chaperone over the age of 18. The student must be picked up prior to 9:00pm and may not return to campus until 8:30am.

This form should be completed by the parent/legal guardian at least 24 hours in advance of this absence.
